… and wondered why my bladder is so full

after peeing, I went to the kitchen to make milk for my toddler
….and wondered why he is so hungry
I trudged back to the room
plonked myself back to bed
…and wondered why I am not sleepy anymore
I came out to the living room
to read The Star
…..and wondered why I can read so well
I passed by my computer
….and wondered why power surge thingy light is still flickering
I disturbed the mouse and yikes, a few blogs are online

When did I turned on my computer?
Why can I see so well?
Why is my atm so annoyed with me this morning (before going to work)?
Why are last night dinner dishes still on the table, turning stinky?
Why is the floor so messy?
Why can I see so well?
Shit! I had fallen asleep last night
while I was putting my toddler to sleep
and I forgot to take off my contact lenses, brush my teeth, clean the house, shutdown my computer, lock the wooden door, turn off the living room lights and say my night prayers to ask God not to make a fool of me.
And I thought God gave me better vision simply
because it is APRIL FOOL’s day!
