Ok, since I am going to blog in nothing but Bahasa Malaysia on 31st August, 2005 let me get this off first. Recently, I found some old magazines with lots and lots of coverage on the death of Princess Diana.

I am not exactly a fan of Princess Diana but I remembered shedding a few tears when I saw her young sons at the funeral.

Diana, Princess of Wales died on Sunday, 31 August 1997 following a car crash in Paris. There was widespread public mourning at the death of this popular figure, culminating with her funeral at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6 September 1997. Source

What I remembered about the funeral is Elton John’s rendition of Candle in the Wind (or is it the Rose of England?). And this hymn – Make me a channel of your peace (A prayer of St. Francis). I had sung it at one of my church choir. It is truly a beautiful song. The lyrics:
