Just curious, are your eyes open when you sneeze?
I was driving yesterday and sneezed like a mad dog, with my eyes closed. Reflex eh? Cannot take Clarinese because it makes me jittery. Cannot take Actifed because it makes me sleepy. So I finally took Zyrtec. I don’t know it is placebo effect or what but it works. (Warning : Don’t self-medicate, it can kill you!)
So, that’s it for today. zzzzzzzzzz
Don’t forget to check whether you do it with your eyes open or close. Tell us?
Added : See the ‘damage’ I did with a hartchiew. I probably will do it often, just to draw attention.

i hatcheww with one eye open whe driving or a hold my nose to subdue the sneeze, always open your eyes when driving, at least one eye on the road. Cheers!

It’s a natural reaction. Sneezing with your eyes open might cause your eyes to pop out. Not kidding. It’s a fact.
Toxicle, I sometimes sneeze with my mouth close. Really.
One more hint to where I work…. we make loratadine over here, the active ingredient of one of the drugs you mentioned above… hehe.

Depends lor.. for some stupid reason, I always feel like sneezing whenever I apply my mascara. This time me sei also must keep eyes open… if not, mascara from my lashes is going all over!! Damn!!

Closing eyes while sneezing is a reflex, like those spasms you get during orgasm, also reflex.
If you believe eyes will pop out if you don’t sneeze with eyes closed, you might as well believe if you sneeze non-stop 10 times in a row, you’ll get an orgasm, and that Lilian had been a very happy woman when she was driving yesterday.
Lastly, if you are going to self medicate with prescription medications, don’t publish it on your blog. You’ll never know when your blog will appear in the front pages of some papers titled ‘Laman Web Dajal’.

It is a reflex action. When you sneeze, all your body functions stopped, even the heart won’t beat.
I think antihistamine should be fine. Ask doc and see.
