Today, I am going to annoy you guys with the neverending bloggers sing-song project again. I hope the dong-dong-chiang brings some Chinese New Year mood to everyone.

While we are happily celebrating with reunion dinner with lots of good food and loved ones, let us pause and say a little prayer for those less fortunate. These are old folks who probably never get to see their offsprings due to several reasons. They maybe children and lonely people who no longer have their loved ones.

Times like this can also be extra hard on those whose grandparents/ parents/spouses/children/other loved ones who just passed away. May all of you find strength
to carry on the spirit of gaiety related to Chinese New Year whilst at the same time, think back of the good times you have had. Trust in your faith that though they may not be with you here and now, they are with you in spirit.

I wish to share this verse from the Bible, Isaiah 45:5-7 (NIV)

5 I am the LORD, and there is no other;
apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,

6 so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
men may know there is none besides me.
I am the LORD, and there is no other.

7 I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity
and create disaster;
I, the LORD, do all these things.

Gong Xi Fa Cai! May God bless you!
