You better love your Mondays

Before I go on, let me wish all the bloggers I know -GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SPM RESULTS. Andy, Penny and Mr. Kiasi, and everyone else.

Who doesn’t hate Mondays? Everyone does. But let me tell you, you better start appreciating it. You know why? ‘Cos it means you have a job, school, college etc to go to.

Sometimes, atm and I would wish we are millionaires, never need to work, plenty of money fall on our laps, go anywhere we want, do whatever we fancy. No schedule, no demand.

But after a few days of ‘not doing anything’, we will be staring at each other each morning we wake up and ask the same question – Aiyoh, what are we going to do today hor?

Imagine, if we are sailing across the high seas, we can get bored too. Or if we are pampered in some luxurious villa on the Swiss Alps, we also can get bored. Once things started to be a routine, we will get bored.

So, I would say – it is good to out and work. At least there is some challenges there. At least I don’t have to put up with him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year and God knows how many years. At least at the end of the day, we will have more things to talk. And at least, we have the weekends and holidays to look forward to.

Stop whining and go kiss your boss’s butt. Go work/study/wateva and enjoy it.

Meanwhile, today we are planning to go to Pasir Panjang in Balik Pulau, Penang. A hidden beach I haven’t been to. Thanks to Muteaudio for the directions. Then, we probably may go for some seafood either in Gertak Sanggul or Bukit Genting. WAHHHHHH…I am going to enjoy my taugeh, kangkong, tofu *sobs……… and pretend I didn’t see the crabs, prawns, squids….

BTW, yesterday, I check for a trip to Bali on Air Asia and flight alone will costs RM3.5K for 6 tickets! Since I am now so good in eating vegetables and bluff myself they are tasty, I shall bluff myself Pasir Panjang is a beach in Bali! Yay!

Enjoy your Monday, folks!

  1. “it’s just another manic monday…”

never fails to put a frown on my face. but yes, I agree that for those who don’t have a regular 9-5, Mon-Fri job, each day might feel the same as the other. for us who do, we yearn for a break… they should make Monday a holiday too!

sigh. grass is always greener on the other side.

  2. Yeahhhh life with something to do is much better than nothing to do. Like me here stuck. Everyday waking up early in the morning thinking of what to do for the whole day. Sometimes sit down bored in the house alone day dreaming.
