It’s a public holiday here in Penang and Selangor because of Nuzul Al-Quran. My dear hubby’s office follow Kedah and Wilayah Persekutuan holidays. That means I am stuck at home with four kids and a car that doesn’t belong to me. *sigh*
Someone borrowed our seven-seater for an outstation trip and left his Accord with WHITE upholstery for me. (Do you know that white upholstery and kids don’t mix?) So, it is going to be a boring public holiday. Shucks!
So who else is having a public holiday today? Happy Holiday!

Muslims believe that Nuzul Quran is the day that the Quran was first revealed by Allah to mankind via the Prophet Muhammad as stated in Baqarah(2):verse185:\
Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur-an, as a guide to mankind, also Clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put you to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

Eeee… aikss…. it’s a public holiday in both place. We don’t have it here but my brother’s school is having holiday for it. So strange…
It’s a holiday in Brunei too!
This is the day people in PJ or Selangor go in drove to KL for shopping. Then after finish shopping they have to deal with masive traffic jam in the afternoon rush hour. People working in KL and the shoppers coming back together, just imagine.
Sad betul….my friends just across Selangor got holidays while my college is located in KL, no off for me. 🙁
