Do you have old posts that still receive comments? Do you know how many people love to surf the net and then, when they get anal, they jump on your old posts that you wrote donkey ages away and start to write their own blardy, long winded posts to give their opinions? Like as if they are so pandai and they blab, blab, blab non-stop. Read my Me section lah, I am paying for all those little alphabets you typed. If you like to write so much, go start your own blog lah.
I hate those sort of comments. I had used one plugin in my Best Recipe call Auto Close Comment where the old posts will have the comments section turned off. I get tonnes of people asking for recipes lah, address lah, telephone numbers lah etc. Adoi, I write food blog, I am not an information counter lah.
Then, I have tonnes of Siti Nurhaliza haters who still come to my site to criticise her marriage to Datuk K. And some posted that she is now fat. Cilaka, you think my blog is Siti Nurhaliza’s fans site or what? Puadah lah! Blah!
So, if you have the same problems as mine, use WP plugin to shut the comments section up. Over on this site, I had just installed Comment Timeout by James McKay.
All posts beyond 30 days will have the comment section shut off. It is shaddap, dudes. I am not interested to hear what you want to say after 30 days or 15 days if a post has no comments. What I write today, tomorrow I cannot remember. What I said today, maybe tomorrow I may disagree already. So, keep your comments to yourself.
Bloggers, you agree or not? Say we write something last year, it is blardy annoying to have someone commenting and refuting our thoughts. Because dei, that one so long already, who cares what I said lah. Wordpress plugins - I’m lovin’ it.
