Love

Love is a word…
that is most used
most abused and
most misused.

So, are you using it enough?

Or are you overusing it to the point of abuse?

Or have you misused it?

Using it means telling people that you really love, you love them.

Abusing it means using it for glamour. You know lah, some people can babble ‘I love you’ like they are some MTV stars or sluts.

Misusing it means examples like, “How can something so right be so wrong?” Nay….those people who are cheats on their spouse, with the fake reason that it is ok to love someone because love is good.

This is the result of listening to some very bersemangat sermon from one visiting priest from Singapore. Fuyoh, if he is our parish priest, I tell you…….. I didn’t quite get his name, sounds like Monsignor Father Eugune Vaz. Disclaimer, only the first para is his words. The rest are my conclusions.

So, what is love to you?

  1. Nice hibiscus and white orchid photos you have there…how much you want to sell ar?? 😛

Do you understand the meaning of love?
Love is… a very complicated word
It hurts the most when the person you love has no idea how you feel…
It’s not about “it’s your fault”, but “I’m sorry”
It’s not about “where are you’, but “I’m right here”
It’s not about “how could you”, but “I understand”
It’s not about “I wish you were”, but “I’m thankful you are”
Appreciate it and do not abuse or misuse it
And life will be a rainbow for time to come…

  2. love is building trust between two person. love between you and your mom, your lover, your son, your sister–it’s all love, and it’s all about trust, honesty, caring, giving and taking. love will never be complete if you miss out any of that, and if you really do love, love with all your heart.

    personally, i think i take too much tho… haha… but i still love 🙂

  3. LOVE!!! This word to me means a lot but just don’t misused it lor. Love means you love someone no matter how he/she looks like – fully accept the whole him/her. But in love, you got to give in return to gain some from others. I can’t remember which chapter liau in Psalm where they have this beautiful verse talking about love.

  4. Gorgeous pictures, Lilian! And you’re right about Monsignor Eugene’s sermon – I didn’t fall asleep even though I was so TIRED!
