Think of the tourism we are trying to push? Think of the pride we wanted to project for being independent for 50 years? Think how our blogging peers think of us when we say we are Malaysian? Think of what advertisers will think when we say we are Malaysians? Now this issue affects me as an individual because I WAS proud to say I am Malaysian.

Let’s take this as an opportunity to come together and show the world (and the country) that bloggers are good people who do good deeds. If there is one occasion that we can prove that bloggers aren’t what our Government painted us, it is this Blogathon. Chip in a few dollars for the charitable organisation you choose, spur those bloggers who took part to keep staying away for 24 hours and together we will make a stand that we are nice folks!
