Support Blogathon – Pledge and donate

TenthOfMarch, whose surname is a Chan 🙂 too MSN-ed me last night if he can still signed up for Blogathon 2007. I suggested to him to email Blogathon to find and out and I am glad they allow him to participate.

So, he will be blogging for MAKNA. Folks, go give him some support, will you. You can pledge to MAKNA and donate when the Blogathon is over.

I know some of you prefer to donate anon. but if you do let the bloggers know you pledge, it will spur them on a little bit. It is no joke to stay awake for 24 hours, writing a post live every 30 mins. The bloggers hold the honour they will do it live and not prepare some posts in advance and get it auto-publish. That’s the spirit of Blogathon. The efforts put in by the bloggers for their intended charitable bodies.

Now, TenthOfMarch – I ‘demand’ a guest post, please 🙂 ? I have something to share about cancer and kids. I will write it in advance and mail to you. (yes, the bloggers can take a few guest posts)

Also, I hope you will pledge to Eden Handicap Centre and support Pelf. I am hijacking Pelf’s blog for about 6 hours. I proposed 9 pm to 3 am on 28th July, 2007. Watch out for some enlightening sharings on parents with handicap children.

If you prefer to pledge to EDEN – find out the details from Pelf . Pelf also listed more Malaysians bloggers who take part in the Blogathon. Support them too, please.

It doesn’t matter which charitable organisation you pledge but PLEASE GIVE the bloggers who are taking part some support. Cheer them on or make it a point to leave a comment or two when they are writing on that day.

Let’s take this as an opportunity to come together and show the world (and the country) that bloggers are good people who do good deeds. If there is one occasion that we can prove that bloggers aren’t what our Government painted us, it is this Blogathon. Chip in a few dollars for the charitable organisation you choose, spur those bloggers who took part to keep staying away for 24 hours and together we will make a stand that we are nice folks!
