I don’t like to get involve in politics. But when my faith is being mentioned in that light, I must stand up and say it is not alright for anyone to insinuate things like these.
What more a supposedly reputable site like Kelab Penyokong Maya UMNO. Maya means virtual. I do not know how people can get ideas such as these. But if it can be published and no harm come to them, why can’t I, a Christian tell them back they are wrong. I won’t stoop to their level and hit back ala 5xmom. My faith, my Lord is being slandered so I have to highlight it.
Christians brothers and sisters, read, understand and know what kind of forces are against us. Do your part. Have you registered as a voter? Will you do it now?
I do not know who wrote the article on Kelab Penyokong Maya UMNO but this is what the person implied (in bold and in English is what I feel they are saying):

Frankly speaking, if I really am a Christian, I would be greatly upset that the Kelab Penyokong Maya Umno considers being a Christian as something terrible. But then I am not a Christian. So of course I do not take offence to that ‘insult’ one bit. But this is not about me. This is about being sensitive to the feelings of the Christians. I love my relatives who profess the Christian faith and I for one would not want to hurt the feelings of those I love. That, in a nutshell, is what I am driving at. And I hope, as a gesture of good faith, Kelab Penyokong Maya Umno will publish an apology to all Christians (and even if you don’t mean it pretend you do just to make sure that Umno does not lose the support of the Christians come the next election).
Well, I can say that UMNO can forget about Christian votes even after an apology. Sebab otak macam itu akan berterusan dari generasi ke generasi. (because that sort of mentality will continue for generations)

Alas, this is but a tip of the ice-berg of govt sanctioned bigotry and racialism that we are looking at in this country. They seem to have the license to say and do things like these while the ‘others’ do not. And be threatened with sedition and the ISA.
I’ve a daughter whose HM forbids his own school’s Chinese Club’s cultural show to be staged in the school’s multi-purpose hall. Instead they had to rent an outside hall for the purpose. It was only attended by parents and teachers of the same community plus a few token teachers and students of the other races who voluntarily turned up to give their fellow students some moral support. That’s how bad it is…
Not only I’m going to vote, I’ve made sure all my stupid frens whom has not registered as voters go out and vote.
Vote the ‘right’ vote of course.
How are we ever gonna achieve Bangsa Malaysia???

Question – is KMU an UMNO website or just pretending to be one?
It is your right to vote according to your conscience but I think the KMU crap is meant to send Christians and other non-Muslims into the hands of those opposed to UMNO.
They have done their job well.
Then again, there is so much diatribe against Muslims and their obsession of setting up an Islamic state in Malaysia that I think this situation has all of us divided by faith.

when the malays talks about christian, all of sudden it will become a very big issue, but it will never be an issue if non malays or non muslim talks about malays/muslim/bumiputra and to back it up, those ungrateful will claim that they have the rights to talk about it and uphold the freedom of speech and free mind…everywhere and everyday people will keep on talking rubbish about my religion, bashing my race and when the same thing happens to you, you’ll get angry and jump and make an issues out of it?

I separate individual views and opinions from the so-called ruling politcal party. If KPMU is not a site sanctioned by the real UMNO, then, let UMNO make an issue against them. But since, there is no mention of what they said being sensitive, someone has to speak up. This is nothing against or in support of any races or religions. This is about who is governing us and as rakyat, if we feel unhappy over it, we express it.
Did lilian insult muslims? No where in any of her sentences insult muslims. She only mentioned UMNO. The Unsound Minded Naive Organization that is.

So, my issue here is – KPMU cannot drag in the whole faith just to fight one RPK. And our Government and their endless warnings to bloggers never applies to KPMU. That’s why I highlight this issue to my Christians brethens. My title said so.

I have learned that it is pointless going on a debate with these people who do not respect the dignity and freedom of fellow human beings. Most of the time, I believe it has to do with an inferiority complex wherein they need to say hurtful things like that so that they feel good and secure about themselves.
I don’t have to defend my religion with hurtful words about others. God is Almighty and Just. He will deal with all of us according to our own actions and nobody can escape accounting for himself. My security lies in the knowledge that Christ lives in me and that His grace is sufficient for me.
