JEFF OOI APPEALING FOR VOLUNTEERS
As one blogger to another, it is only right we help to inform our readers that JeffOoi is asking for volunteers for the Jelutong DAP campaign office for the election malaysia.
We have a fair bit of volunteers, but we need more. If you are available to help, please contact our Campaign Directors:
1 ) Mr Theng Tel: 016-4173108
2 ) Mr Tan Tel: 012-4309615Please SMS the two, stating your name, IC number & voting area. Non-Jelutong Malaysians are also welcome.
As what I know, volunteers are needed for all the tasks of getting the posters ready etc etc. Anyway, it sounds like a fun community project.
BARISAN RAKYAT
If you are getting the community feel, you know the kind where your heart burns with the desire to be part of something greater, then do read Raja Petra post on what they are doing for those who are bloggers and contesting in the election.
Let’s demonstrate Malaysian Solidarity.
At 11.00am the following day — Saturday, 23 February 2008 — we shall be launching the PEOPLES’ DECLARATION at the Blog House in Bukit Damansara in Kuala Lumpur. The six political parties who have endorsed the declaration will be invited to attend together with civil society movements, NGOs, and members of the blogging community. Those interested to witness this event are most welcome (address: no: 66, Lorong Setiabistari 2).
