25Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son,” 27and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
The above is a verse from the Bible about Jesus Crucifixion. It is said that Jesus died on the cross at the hour of 3 (pm).

I have been to the Good Friday mass with the veneration of the cross at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. It is one of those days when the church is stripped off all music and joyful songs. The priest prostrates at the altar. It is not a sight we see often and that always give me such overwhelming feelings of gratitude. Prostrates mean lying face down on the bare ground as a sign of total submission. Thank God for our priests who lead and guide us in our worship for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Veneration of the cross means we kiss the feet of Jesus on the crucifix. That also give me a sense of repentance. That for all that I have done wrong, on this day, God has said, “It’s alright, everything is paid in full.”
But, today, we have someone who join us in worship. He is the Chief Minister of Penang. Praise the Lord!

I like this church in bukit mertajam. Its huge, must have gotten plenty of contributions from its huge congregation or pilgrims. Hope to visit again this year.
