I did a very bad thing today.
I wasted 10 x 45 minutes of my life ‘learning Chinese history and culture’. That is a farking 450 minutes or seven hours and 30 minutes!
Meanwhile, my eldest son is busy baking swiss roll because it is one of those things you need to practise and practise to get it right. His practical exam is on Monday. Being a good mother, I only help with the eating part.
I do not know Cantonese but after seven hours and 30 minutes of tutoring by Joe Ma and Charmaine Sheh, I am getting there.
My little boy getting his hair cut. Normally he goes to the Indian barber but today, hubby decided to DIY with his new, electric hair cutter.
My lunch is Hokkien mee.
Actually, you can watch When Easterly Showers Fall On The Sunny West on Astro. I think you need to pay a lot of money for it and wait for the episode each day. Some people watch it online. Others download it from the internet.
This is my dinner. A plate of oyster noodle is RM4. So is ermmm…Uncle Ho’s.
Since I contributed two plates of oyster noodles to some Ah Beng, I think I am not so bad lah, hor?
Wah, mee for lunch and mee again for dinner ah?Both look delicious.
Now I am hungry liao!
momo – The oyster mee is a share-share one. I ate 1/3. The Hokkien Mee, 1/2.
Ahhhhhh…… those photos make me miss malaysian food soooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

dropping by. the only place I eat hokkien mee is old town cafe ^^.
That’s not bad. Might be useful (one day) when you are writing a post about China or something.
The best Hokkien Mee in Penang for me is the one opposite the Pulau Tikus Police Station.
As for oyster noodle, it has to be Ang Hoay Lor…mmmm
Alamak… The pic of the rolls are sooooo nice. Having the pink food colouring is unique from the normal chocolate, vanilla or kaya icing…
Slurrrrppp….
