I just noticed that our Information Minister, for reasons known only to himself, had changed the Mandarin news to RTM 1. And on RTM 2, they show some Drama Minggu Ini lame production. I wonder what’s the rational for hogging RTM 1, a channel we Malaysians know are almost 100 % Bahasa Malaysia production including the super irritating Mutiara Naga dan Doeramon speaking BM.
Being the cynical and obnoxious person, the only reason I can think of is to annoy our dear kampong folks with Mandarin news. You know…give them the sense that we Chinese are invading the airwaves with our pendatang foreign languages. Other than that, I do not see why they need to rock the boat when it has been the norm to have RTM 1 for BM, English, Arabic and Brazilian productions and RTM 2 for Mandarin, Tamil and English production.
Another thing – BN will never and can never learn. From Permatang Pauh to Kuala Terengganu, they are churning the same propaganda. I think it was TV3 news that said one of the Pakatan state has (in my own words) “robbed the rakyat by closing down Kemas kindergarten, denying children of education so that they can buy luxurious cars.” They also said something about Penang using the rakyat money to buy “kereta-kereta mewah sementara projek-projek lain were ignored”.

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government has defended the purchase of 14 Mercedes E200 Kompressor cars at RM3.43mil for the use of its state executive councillors and senior officials.
Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said said the state government had planned to purchase the cars for a long time now to replace its Proton Perdana V6 Executive fleet in a move to cut cost.

Elo, you think we all takdak otak kah? We know and we remember how Terengganu was famous for buying Mercedes for their politicians because Mercedes “cheaper to maintain than Perdana”. We also remember that some mechanics overcharged the Terengganu state government with exhorbitant maintenance fees.
So, don’t lah try to rub shit on Pakatan Rakyat states when BN rule states pun bukan harum sangat. Time to learn lah, BN oi.
I think there’s only one man show at KT. We can already see how that fella will act even before he takes over in March. He even started bribing with projects!

well i though no one wants to watch tv1, so if they change the chinese news to tv1, is kinda like a thing to save tv1’s ass.
