Superminister Koh Tsu Koon

I don’t read Mandarin but according to JeffOoi, the Chinese papers are lauding the birth of Superminister Koh Tsu Koon.
Wowser…..just like Clark Kent the nerdy reporter with the big glasses, Koh Tsu Koon now is the nerdy ex-Chief Minister turning to Superman. When Clark Kent stripped off his reporter nerdy suit, he wore a red underwear outside and he can fly. (walau eh, Google for Koh Tsu Koon and it is still my post that appears on #2, higher than the SERP for Lim Guan Eng)
I wonder what will happen to Koh Tsu Koon when he strips off his nerdy ex-Chief Minister who was voted out by Penangites to become the Lord over all the ministers from MCA, MIC and especially UMNO? You see, he is appointed a Minister in the Prime Minister department, i.e. Najib and not Pak Lah, anymore you doinks (just in case I have readers who do not know who is the PM of Malaysia) who is in charge of PRESTIGE and UNITY. He must maintain a prestigious ministries for the PM and he must unite all Malaysians.
Doh…this is like the joke of the year. Superminister Koh Tsu Koon is the best man for the job? Do you recall UMNO Penang tore his photo and then, stepped on it? I cannot remember why they did it but all I remember was how disappointed I was that Gerakan and especially Koh Tsu Koon could still kow tow to this kind of intimidation. There is this saying in Cantonese ‘Nam yan tau cheong fu’ (I think it means big man, big husband ah?) but we get is a ‘lat tai fu’ (underwear also drop).
The only reason Koh Tsu Koon gets the post is because the last bastion in Penang is through Gerakan. With the majority of Chinese voters in Penang, Koh Tsu Koon is the last hope for UMNO/Barisan Nasional to ever hope of getting back the Chinese votes in the next General Election. Unfortunately, sorry lah, Mr. Prime Minister, try as you may, we Chinese have our Chinese pride and that means, we cannot forget the kind of treatment UMNO gave to Gerakan. We may not be fans of Gerakan but we won’t tolerate leaders who still kow tow inspite of being humilated like that.
*shit! I ter-published this post because I was in a rush to go out. Never mind liao, no perengan penutup tak apa lah*
