I remember Fr. Moses Lui well:) and was actually there at his ordination as a priest! Aiyooo - (realizes that I have just revealed my vintage)! He's originally from Kluang. When you mentioned in another posting about attending Mass in Chinese - it brought back some memories. Sometimes my family would attend the Chinese mass (I think it was Canto) on Sunday mornings, although we're not of Chinese descent and could not speak nor understand the language. Fr. Moses's parents were very active in Church - his dad pretty much ran the choir for the Chinese masses and played the organ. He had a big booming voice which would wake you up when you were dozing or not paying attention. As far as I remember, Moses (b4 he was ordained) actually was my Catechism teacher circa 9 yrs old and he was so nice and smiley. So thanks for the memories and keep up yr writing. I'm now learning more bad words to add to 'Lan' thanks to you.Cheers!

iamyuanwu - I forgot to mention - My hubby bought an MP3 for my 6 yrs old (much against my approval). The kid only used for one day, put it in his pants pocket, went into the washing machine and rosak ledi. RM139 koyak. It made his face green with fear but he didn't kena lah. Luckily the thing worked again after the next day. Now, I am the owner of the MP3 that has been washed, rinsed and spin. My kid is now so fearful of owning anything expensive again. He doesn't want to have anything to do with MP3 anymore. Thank God!
