		<description>Speaking from experience, because my face is prone to freckles ... I tend to get lots of hyperpigmentation during pregnancy. But I read using tretinoin during pregnancy (as well as any creams containing vitamin A) are not advised because there is a risk it may cause birth defects. I used creams with kojic acid instead, and it improved my hyperpigmentation a bit.
