I am in the same boat as you and a neutral observer of politics. I can’t help but admire CM Lim Guan Eng for all the effort he had put in together with his exco in ensuring that the Kg Buah Pala residents get a fair deal with the developer Nusmetro.
In this instance I would say that the previous CM Koh Tsu Koon did not meet up to my expectation as a responsible politician and leader. In the first place he was the one who sold the land and did not inform the residents about it.
At the very least , he should have come out into the open at explain why the land was sold by the previous BN govt. Koh Tsu Koon and his UMNO cohorts thought that Penangites can be fooled into believing that this is all Lim Guan Eng’s fault .
Gerakan and BN stirred up the shit and using all the available MSM media, they want LGE and his PR government to clean it up for him. This is not fair as LGE has other duties and responsibilities as a government for all Penangites as well.
