Dr. Teng, why don’t you stroke your own pen?

I had wanted to write this but was caught up with house moving so I didn’t manage to hit while the iron is hot.

Few days ago, there is a report in Malaysiakini where Datuk Dr. Teng Hock Nan openly told media that CM Lim Guan Eng could have saved Kampung Buah Pala with a stroke of pen. I was very pissed with that sort of statement, coming from what was supposed to be one of the candidate vying for the Chief Minister position before the last general election.

Of course, it is open knowledge that I am a fan of CM Lim. But that’s not my main discontentment. It is not about Lim Guan Eng. It is about Penang.

The statement from Datuk Dr. Teng is deemed very mischievous and irresponsible. He, being a Penangite and also in Gerakan should have known that the Kampung Buah Pala issue had been turned into a racial issue. Therefore, if he is responsible and love peace and harmony in Penang, he would have kept his mouth shut instead of adding fuel to fire.

Makkal Sakthi, Hindraf and MIC had gone into Kampung Buah Pala to turn the residents against the Chinese. Their members have added salt to the wounds of the affected residents and put the blame on the Chinese Chief Minister and Chinese developer. I had been there and know what kind of racial tauntings the ‘imported’ demonstrators are capable of uttering.

Instead of letting the issue die down quietly, Datuk Dr. Teng had once again attempted to start another round of animosities and hostilities between the Indians and Chinese.

Therefore, Dr. Teng, I am so very thankful that a person like you had failed to be our Chief Minister. Otherwise, I wonder what our Penang state will turn into with a person like you who have only your own interests and not the whole state.

Oh yeah, Dr. Teng, you asked CM Lim to ‘stroke of a pen’ to save Kampung Buah Pala without giving second thought to the repercussion. It would have been RM150 million of our Penangites’ money. You are merely blowing hot air, Dr. Teng. I can bet that if it had been you who is the CM, the Kampung Buah Pala folks wouldn’t even have a chance to see you. Probably, they would have taken the RM75K flat and nothing else. Here, CM Lim and his deputies had endured name callings, barging into his office and all sorts of disrespectful manners and they still open their doors to the Kampung Buah Pala folks.

Many years ago, you refused to stroke of a pen to give me a valid medical certificate because you wanted to remain the ‘clean panel of company doctors who don’t issue MCs’. I was really sick and yet, you refused to sign the MC because you want to remain in the good books of my bosses. I had no voice, a bad inflamed tonsils and had fever and yet, you dare not stroke your pen. Now, you want to act hero and talk big. Come on lah, don’t try to fool us. We are not easily fooled. Remember? We Penangites voted all of you out of Penang?

And to those people who are trying to challenge the Chief Minister of Penang to a debate, I think I have something to tell you. This is CM Lim’s favourite blast to people like that. “Ambil cermin, tengok muka sendiri” Who are you people lah? You think our CM has nothing better to do than to argue with a bunch of kiddoes ah? The only reason he challenged ex-CM is because he could mince the ex-CM like a teppanyaki chef. Chop chop chop, mince mince mince, grill grill grill and swallow.

Moral of the story : Hell hath no fury like an ex-executive secretary who was denied MC because a chicken doc dare not stroke his pen.

  1. Dr. ‘sore loser’ Teng. Ask him to go back to his clinic and start selling MC lah. Gerakan will never see daylight in Penang ever again lah. wtf!

  2. Teng Hock Nam is no match to Lim Guan Eng in an open debate. He will sure get his ass kicked if the debate is carried out.

  3. Well through his connections of yesteryears he did managed to secure JPA scholarships for his children though. ‘Stroke of a pen’ at work – albeit self-fulfilling.

  4. He’s a real naughty doctor. Must have lost his marbles. Before GE12, he was fighting to be CM of Penang. Now, he has been rejected and not even a state assemblyman. He should have quit from all his Gerakan posts, as a token of owning up responsibility for the Party’s failure. And quietly resume medical practice, only this time be more charitable in issuing MC’s. I guess he must have forgotten and not kept up to date with medical advancement and therefore may risk killing his patients.

Ride away Teng Hock Nam, and say hello to the monkeys in Kebun Bunga!

  5. well said. Gerakan has always been on their own interest. In fact, the BN government has been own interest when they were in power. Its always’ what’s in it for me now that I have power’. They will set up their own crony circle, hide any form of favoritism but in fact orchestrate deception as if they were neutral in the award of tenders when in fact they were not. Gerakan, MCA has always been about themselves first, a small portion is for the people. CM Lim is brave enough to stand up and made that change of attitudes.

  6. Dear Lilian,

I need to tell you this — you are wrong on only accusing Dr. Teng while you never fault Lim Guan Eng on the matter

You see, Lim Guan Eng’s house at Island Park, which is less than 5 kilometers away from Kampung Buah Pala, but for months, Lim Guan Eng never pay any visit to the residents at Kampung Buah Pala

What that says about the “caring” attitude of Lim Guan Eng?

The Holy Spirit Cathedral is located at Island Park too so you should know what I am talking about

I have no problem when you criticize Dr. Teng, but I do have problem when you ONLY criticize Dr. Teng while NOT doing the same thing to Lim Guan Eng

  7. stroke his pen?

ooi, his boss has lost both balls to UMNO long time ago. imagine having your photo stamped and yet keep silent.
this teng would have probably lost his private pen long time ago to UMNO while vying for the CM post. whats there to stroke anymore?

  8. >kalambong

grow up. what difference will it make if LGE visited the kampung. he made time to meet them several times. PG does not revolve around KBPala.
it s the level of comments fr tht loctor really put fire in me i tell you.

talk is really is cheap nowadays.
    how much per kg ah?

  9. kalambong – I have seen how the villagers treated Prof. Ramasamy and YB Mansor (when he was just elected and appointed DCM1) when they went to Kg Buah Pala. I have a video of it. Makkal Sakthi members were there and they totally have no respect for state leaders with their finger pointing and playing on the emotions of the villagers. I have also been to many ‘CM meet the villagers’ and some of the villagers were really rough and barged through into the meeting room eventhough they were nicely told the meeting only allowed the house owners and one rep. I have also been to the many demolition attempts and seen how the outsiders, i.e. Hindraf/MIC and other imported demonstrators who are really rough. So, would you, if you are a caring person want to subject our state leader to be in that situation. The real villagers of Kg Buah Pala are really nice people. But the whole situation was beyond their control when outsiders were ‘engaged’ to be there to ‘fight’.

So, if you are still faulting CM Lim for not visiting Kg Buah Pala, it just shows how little you know about the real Kg Buah Pala. You are merely blowing hot air like Dr. Teng. You think CM LIm is Jesus Christ ah? Just floats in and the whole issue will be solved?

And what the hell are you talking about my church? What does it gotta do with the issue?

And who cares if you have a problem with me or not. And don’t kepoh where I send my children to study. Get lost, you are not welcome. Go read under my Obnoxious page.

  10. Chan Lilian,
Dr.Teng/Tong never expected this article i think …… ha,ha,ha… u are one hell of a lady. What were all these clowns doing when there were in power gerakan ala Bn.
they had no fangs then, now he is making noise. Jealous sore losers -Penangites are happy with the present leadership and our new CM.

  11. Lilian,
Have you managed to go to bed with CM Lim Guan Eng? I’m sure by now he appreciates all the “pua lam pa” you have done for him.

Terence warns : Watch your tongue!!!

  12. JK,
That is not how you should talk to your PM. You Idiot!

    Terence,
Sorry GOD. I shall lick your ass after you pang sai-ed. Sorry I misbehaved because my hooker mom didn’t taught me manners and my dad ran away with another hooker.

  13. Dear Sis Lilian,
I would appreciate if you could answer me whether
would you get MAD like how you got mad at kalambong if :

    1) The DAP government representatives promised and assured you that you don’t have to vacate your house and your kampong would be preserved as heritage and LATER the Chief Minister said it was not him who made the promises and therefore not counted ;
    2) The government met you on 13th March 08 and gave all kind of assurances and LATER alienated the land to the Koperasi on 26th the same month without telling you ;
    3) The Chief Minister YAB Lim Guan Eng told the whole world that its a LAND SCAM in Kampong Buah Pala and LATER said his government has to abide to the terms and conditions signed by the previous administration.

I would definitely got mad if these happened to me, what about YOU ?

  14. confused – What’s there to be confused?

    1) When Rayer, Karpal and Anwar went for their election campaign, they are not in the state administrative and they have no idea of the amount of land scam that had taken place. So, yeah, big deal, they made promises they couldn’t deliver. So did all the politicians. And in truth, Lim Guan Eng really never promised them. He has to act in all fairness to Penangites by not pulling back the land deal and get sued by the land owner and developer for RM150M (this is where the RM150M came from, the amt that they can be sued). Don’t even talk about the heritage. Sugumaran said they had tried applying for heritage status since 10 years ago, and what had the previous gov. and the PHT done then? Nothing. Suddenly, at the last minute, they want to talk about heritage and then, blame it on the new state gov.

And don’t forget that the villagers with the help of Cecil Rajendra (and YB Karpal and YB Rayer) did tried to get the land back. They won two high court cases. But what can they do when the land owner file in the appeal court and then, federal court and they win? Don’t be such a simple minded person lah. This is the Federal Court order. Lim Guan Eng is not the emperor. What do you expect him to do lah? Overturn the Federal Court order?

    2) Who said the land was alienated by the current gov? It was done long time ago. Go see the day when the ex-DCM, abdul rashid told the people – adik beradik kita yang bela lembu (to me this is such a insulting term to use) ….will get a better life because of development. Yes, the villagers did see the CM but by then, nasi sudah jadi bubur. All the paper works were already done, what left is only the last payment. And you think LGE is a robot who controls everything single transactions, paperworks ah? This is done by the Land Office.

    3) Yeah, how many times do I have to repeat? The land was alienated long time ago. Sugumaran told me personally how it was done by BN Government whereby they changed the lot number and stopped collecting TOL from them since 2005.

Of course, the villagers have every right to be mad and sad because their land and their homes were gone. But what else can do they? The reality is they are going against the previous BN government, the Federal Court and the mighty power of money and development.

  15. THE IDIOT WHO NICK-NAME NAJIB – I am going to warn you. I will keep all your comments and if you continue with such stupid remarks, trust me – I will make a police report that you impersonate the Prime Minister. You can be sure that the police will love to hear from me and you can expect them to knock on your door. The internet is not totally anonymous. We can easily trace you. I had reported one commentor before and I don’t mind doing it again.

  16. Go, Lillian, go. We are right with you. Some morons such as the one with the nickname of “Najib” reveal their stupidity by what they write.
With regard to the Dr Teng fellow, I think he must have a pretty thick face. His Party has already caused a huge loss to the people of Penang by selling the Kg Buah Pala land at a cheap price, and now he wants LGE to cause a further loss to the people with a stroke of his pen ???????? Has he got a heart for Penang folks?

  17. I see that you are very good in putting words in others’ mouth, Lillian

Did I say anything about Lim Guan Eng visiting Kampung Buah Pala AFTER the involvement of Hindraf?

Please re-read what I wrote, Lillian, before you start putting words in my mouth again

Lemme re-state what I wrote — how come Lim Guan Eng never pay even a visit to the folks in Kampung Buah Pala when he was still staying in Island Park?

    Why not?

I mean, just after the election, Lim Guan Eng was saying that the CM mansion need hundreds of thousands of dollars for renovation so he preferred to stay in Island Park, remember that, Lillian?

Why Lim Guan Eng never pay any visit to those folks in Kampung Buah Pala?

    Why?

Because they are Indians and Lim Guan Eng has something against the Indians?

Or because Lim Guan Eng sees himself as “high class” and he sees those Indians in Kampung Buah Pala as “low class” ??

No matter how you guys want to twist this thing around — The fact is that Lim Guan Eng’s failure to visit Kampung Buah Pala prior to the involvement of Hindraf has made the matter worse

And you, Lillian, ought to be ashamed of yourself for only accusing Dr. Teng while leaving Lim Guan Eng scotch free !

If Jesus Christ were alive today, He might call you “Satan”, just like he called Peter

  18. kalambong – Now who is putting words into whose mouths? You made ass-u-mptions about Lim Guan Eng and claimed he did not visit the village because they are Indians. Take a mirror and look at yourself lah. I know for sure Lim Guan End did went into the kampungs on the mainland because those people are really living under the hardcore poverty. He went there uninformed, minus official-dom. I heard this from PAS. So, don’t lah make an ass-out-yourself-sumption like that.

Yayaya, go back to your doctor. You are not welcome here. This is the second time I am saying this. But then, my blog is a freaks magnet. Used to it already.

  19. The way you behave, tsk, tsk …

Lillian, you still claim to be a Catholic?

    Repent, Lillian, repent !

  20. Dear Sis Lilian,
    Good afternoon.

It was a surprise that you had little knowledge on Kampong Buah Pala.
    1) the state government officials YBs Ramasamy, Karpal, Rayer went to KBP on 18-1-2009 and made promises, please go to youtube and find out more. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!
    2) after meeting the KBP folks on 13-3-08, Lim Guan Eng could have just “with a stroke of pen” imposed restraints of dealings on the said land, ordered the Land Office not to accept the balance payment and not to transfer the land. Why didnt he do that, was Lim taking the KBP folks for a ride ??
    3) if Lim claimed KBP was a scam, why adhere to the scammers’ terms and conditions.
    4) also, if KBP was a scam, why was Lim mentioned about paying the scammers compensation of RM150M ?

Don’t you get confused like me ??

Btw, if Guan Eng doesn’t know the meaning of “SCAM”, enlighten him. If you do not know the meaning of “ALIENATION” , try to find out.
I am not taking side but I get really confused whenever i read Lim Guan Eng’s statements in the press.

God bless and have a nice day.

  21. Alahai Kembong, this is the typical way trolls react. When they cannot get to a person, they will pull in the gods, then, the parents/kids. Typical lah.

  22. Lilian,
Why did you edit my comment and add insulting words, and later you accused me for the wrongdoing which I wasn’t responsible for?
If you want to make a police report, go ahead. I can only hope the police would conduct a thorough investigation and arrese you at the end.
Please also check your grammar before publishing your blog postings. There are tons of errors, and they really compromise your intelligence as a writer.

  23. The idiot nick name Najib – Another typical troll’s defense mechanism. When the gods argument doesn’t work, bring on the Ingrish to insult. Typical lah.

And nope, Terence is Terence. Me is me. And what is arrese ah? New Ingrish ah?

  24. Lilian,
By the way, “Najib” is neither copyrighted nor proprietarily. Sorry, you and Prime Minister have no business with me calling myself “Najib”.

  25. confused confused –

    1) Go check what transpired between 18-1-2009 and late May 2009. I don’t want to argue. Find out the court cases dates.

    2) LGE was merely days old Chief Minister and you expect him to enter into the state admin and started to use liquid paper to nullify every single thing? Seriously…

    3) Go read the latest press statement from Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. There is no turning back because by then, nasi sudah jadi bubur.

    4) I had said so in my post. The RM150 million is the amount that a legal suit may cost if LGE is to cancel the transaction.

Look, I am not interested in Kampung Buah Pala issue anymore. Yesterday evening, I asked Prof. Ramasamy about some pending issues and I got confirmation from him and I am glad the state gov. has fulfilled certain things the villagers were waiting for. Yet, like I said, my video coverage on Kg Buah Pala ended the day the final demolition happened. Go to my Youtube and watch all the almost 20 videos I made. Get the words right out of Sugumaran, Tamaraj, Ganesan, Uthayakumar, Darshan, Mohan, Makkal Sakthi’s rep and lots of other villagers and also the state gov. Why rely on the press? The press is pro-BN and if you haven’t notice, the press expresses little sympathy for the plights of the villagers.

  26. Foong – Wait lah, they will leech on and bitch more one. I go add some spice and sugar to entertain you, ok? I think my one month contract ending soon liao lor.

  27. Dear Sister Lilian,

I merely want you to think independently and don’t take Lim Guan Eng’s words 100%. I believe there are a lot of spinning and malicious accusations in Kampong Buah Pala’s issue.

May God blessed you with wisdom.

  28. Lilian,
I concur with Confused. I certainly admire Lim Guan Eng’s talent in public speaking and public appearances, bear in mind that no matter how wonderful he is, he is only a human being. Let’s not worship him as he is a Jesus incarnation, and let’s not follow him blindly. What you have done with your reporting about Lim Guan Eng so far is more than objective reporting and scratching his balls, you are licking his ass.

  29. Great! I am sure the editor will be very proud of me because my videos are making so many people pissed off. At least the videos have not gone unnoticed.

  30. The fool who calls itself wisdom – Eh, stupid, where did I equate Lim Guan Eng with the lord? It is all you morons who think so only nia.

  31. Lilian you are doing a great job in this blog,my admiration for your abiltiy to carry our idol balls so well. Such spirit will ensure continue success our PR to wipe the evil BN.

  32. Eh, where did Wisdom go, reneekhor? Why now got new name ah?

Thank you for the compliments. I am merely learning from Koh Tsu Koon on how to carry balls. It is working hor? You say correct or not? Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t notice also hor?

  33. Wakakaka!!! First, that Najib said ‘thats not the way to speak to your PM’. Now he says ‘Najib’ is not copyrighted. WTF!!! Woi!!! Where are your balls lah!!!

Najib- I know Terence. Terence is GOD here. Why did he edited your stupid comment??!! The answer is simple. BECAUSE HE CAN!!! Is there a clause that states comments cannot be edited and whatever written in this blog is true???!!! Wakakaka!!!

To all those ‘preachers’ – If you dont like what is posted here, move on. If there is something you want others to read or know, start your own blog, start a religion, write personally to LGE. This is the wrong place lah! wtf!!!

Lilian – You should ‘clean’ up your blog. Too many morons here. Wakakaka!!!

  34. Apa nama – But I like them hanging around wor. Make all of us so amused mah. At the same time, it is easier for special branch to trace the IPs.

  35. Keep it up, Lilian, I’m with you.
Just read today’s STAR on Pg Gerakan’s forum on KBP. Looks like Pg Gerakan has not much initiative to start on some new projects which can benefit Penang as a whole. They have instead chosen to find faults with the current state govt- road signs, KBP (when things are no longer an issue), etc. What’s next? ..ehm..Botanical garden? It’s just so irritating. Why trying to discredit your successor, friend? If u are so good, so clever, so caring, the current state govt won’t be here in the first place; afterall, gerakan has been in Penang for more than 2 decades?
