Lim Guan Eng to Koh Tsu Koon

Yesterday, during a press conference at Komtar, a few press members have asked Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng if he is going to debate with ex-CM, Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon.
The debate challenge was started by ex-CM Koh Tsu Koon but he had set down certain conditions. CM Lim said he is ready to debate with Koh Tsu Koon anytime, anywhere, any place.
I asked CM Lim a question, i.e. what is there to achieve from the debate. Rather, it is a question more for Koh Tsu Koon. Koh Tsu Koon only spoke after all the 24 houses in Kampung Buah Pala had been demolished and the villagers displaced.
I personally find it very cowardly that Koh Tsu Koon did not come forward to challenge the current state government before the houses were demolished. If Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon is sincere in helping the villagers, he should have done it before the whole Kampung Buah Pala fiasco hits the fan. I would have wanted to see the opposition in Penang state, i.e. Gerakan to defend the villagers physically. Yet, I have never seen a single Gerakan politician in Kampung Buah Pala when I was there many times. Is this what they call a political party? Good only at talking?
